Becoming an
authority on urban
climate resilience
Helping to set an industry-wide agenda and driving commercial opportunities are equally important to Orbia’s Building & Infrastructure business Wavin, which is committed to becoming a leader in urban climate resilience (UCR).
How it began
Establishing a solid foundation through data
To understand the market landscape and working in close collaboration with Wavin, we , Kunde & Co conducted extensive research, and organized the findings into valuable insights including current trends and key stakeholder concerns.
These highlighted water as a central issue in Urban Climate Resilience, underscored the lack of attention given to the topic, and revealed significant potential for water reuse.
Addressing these issues forms the cornerstone of Orbia Wavin’s efforts to position itself strategically.
Developing the solution
A concept spanning thought-leader to product level
The “See Water Differently” concept was developed to be the cornerstone of Orbia Wavin’s communication strategy and span three levels: thought-leadership, solution leadership and product leadership. All uniquely contributing to a holistic and cohesive positioning.
It was introduced through a film that took viewers on a walking tour of a city and highlighted all the opportunities for better water use, reuse, and conservation ready to be exploited.
This was complemented by explainer films, facts, social media posts, blogs, and short videos, all aimed at keeping the conversation alive.
The outcome
Becoming a key player on urban climate resilience
By implementing this successful concept and leveraging its key elements, Orbia Wavin set a solid foundation for its goal of becoming a thought-leader in the UCR space.
By addressing environmental challenges in urban settings, Orbia Wavin strategically positioned itself to become a significant player in the field, enabling it to seize upcoming market opportunities more effectively and to establish a stronger foothold in the ecosystem of sustainable urban solutions.
